I can also with general air pollution related queries and certain specific problems, for example those air pollution problems caused by TRANSPORT related sources. My main interest is related to AVIATION on which I can also advise on NOISE related matters. I am based in the United Kingdom so most of my knowledge is related to the UK situation.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  You cannot tell the difference between air pollution from cars and air pollution from planes
What do you like about this subject?  The position regarding air pollution is always changing therefore I have never been board in my job. I deal with mainly aviation related matters, which gives the work an added dimension. I enjoy the challenge of taking on the large corporations.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I would like to work to reduce the air pollution levels where problems exist. I wish to instigate research on the effects of aviation on air pollution. I would like to get a ban on aircraft flying at night in the Heathrow area to stop the community being woken
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Those of you who smoke cigarettes have no concerns regarding air quality. Even spending time in a smoky atmosphere will expose you to levels of toxic fumes orders of magnitude above ambient air pollution standards!

Thank you so much for the information. Although not much at least it makes more sense than what I have been able to find out so far.

Thank you very much indeed. I to believe that climate change is an accepted fact, the only question mark is about the severity of it.
