An understanding of, and the ability to deliver, Professional Standards and Practices differentiate ones value from another practitioner in the same field. The consumers perception of a professionals performance is paramount to the consultants success as well as that of the perception of others in the same field.
The day we stop learning is the day we are lowered in to the ground. A true professional never relies upon the level of thier current knowledge and is always striving to learn new techniques and strategies improving their performance, representation and negotiating skillset.
All real estate agents are not REALTORS. To be a REALTOR you must be a member of the National Association of REALTORS, pledge to uphold the Code of Ethics, and adopt the aspirational ideals set forth in the Preamble.
If consumers were aware of the tenets set forth in the NAR Code of Ethics they would have a better understanding of an agents duties to Clients and Customers, the Public, and each other.
