Experience in the area

I am the author of more than two dozen books for two education publishers. One of the publishers is one of the world's largest special ed publisher. I am an adjunct professor for two universities, and have taught teachers and youth professionals throughout North America how to work with troubled and problem students for the past two decades. In 2011, I was named a national Top 10 education speaker by two online sites. I am represented by two speakers bureaus. I also teach online courses and webinars, and my posters appeared in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies.

I have a B.S. in Psychology and Counseling from the University of Oregon, and a Masters in Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling from Western Oregon State College. I have a graduate level Certificate in Child Therapy from Portland State University. I am also an adjunct professor at two universities, and am approved to provide clock hours in many states, for many disciplines including teachers, marriage and family therapists, counselors, psychologists, and counseling supervisors.
