I have received so much pleasure and enjoyment from my Nursing career that I am always happy to encourage others who are considering the profession. it`s hard work and not always pretty, but it`s very rewarding.

Nursing is such a wonderful career as it opens so many doors for you. You can work in a hospital, in the community and you can take it with you where ever you may go.
I love learning and I hope to continue to study most of my life. Nursing is always changing and does require an ongoing committment to updating your education, but I've alswyas found it all so interesting.
Personally I think I went in to Nursing because I wanted to know how the body works and we "fix" what's not working properly. I am now a big believer in Preventive Medicine - knowledge helps us help our selfs and avoid the hospital and I love to teach others how to help themselves too.
Nursing has been under-appreciated most of it's history, but it does provide the workers with endless personal satisfaction for doing an important job. I think society is just waking now to how important and valued we really are.
