Experience in the area
I have been working in the field of pediatric nursing for 35 years. I currently work in a ambulatory care setting in a private pediatric practice performing telephonic nursing and in a clinic caring for homeless children and their mothers. I was a nurse manager of a commmunity hospital pediatric department for 21 years prior to this.
I was also a nursing supervisor for a 300 bed acute care hospital for 10 years.

What do you like about this subject?  Nursing gives so much back aside from the pay.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I am always learning. Patients teach me every day.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  We are currently experiencing a nurse shortage which will become worse over the next 10 years. Nurses are desparately needed today.
