Expert Profile: Kris, LVN, Certified Gerontologist

Expertise:  I can answer general medical and health related questions in areas of geriatrics, pyschiatry, and cardiology. I cannot make any final diagnoses, but I can focus in on a praticular area that may be the problem and head anyone in need in the right direction.
I have been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for going on 3 years. I have worked part time running a Cardiac Rehab program under the supervision of the local Cardiologist. Working nights at the hospital and days with Cardiac Rehab was stating to be a little too much so I quit at the clinic. I work full time in a Skilled Nursing Facility and I'm a certified Gerontologist. I can offer advise and support in the area of Death and Dying to those going through such a tough time. I answer all questions to the best of my ability and knowledge and will not attempt to just to make myself look good or just to give the questioner a generic answer. If I truly feel I cannot answer any one particular question with full knowlege, I will mark it as "out of my expertise". Prior to nursing, I was a Certified Nursing Assisstant for 6 years. I have been in the same facility for a total of approximatly 12 years. I will consider doing homework questions, but please know, I'm very busy and responce time may be long.
