Education/Credentials

Ski instructor for 5 years

What do you like about this subject?

Riding down a mountain of powder snow is one of the most fun and exhilarating things in the world.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

Improve my telemark abilities and become more knowledgeble about backcountry skiing.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Many skiers feel that telemark skiing is not for them. After many years of perfecting my carve turns, I tried telemark skiing. It was a new challenge for me. The thing that stands out the most is that it is a much more balanced form of skiing. It requires a different stance and balance than regular skiing.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Tele skiers say 'Free your heel, free your mind'. If you are a downhill skier looking for something new and challenging, try telemark skiing.
