What do you like about this subject?

Riding down a mountain of powder snow is one of the most fun and exhilarating things in the world.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

Improve my telemark abilities and become more knowledgeble about backcountry skiing.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Many skiers feel that telemark skiing is not for them. After many years of perfecting my carve turns, I tried telemark skiing. It was a new challenge for me. The thing that stands out the most is that it is a much more balanced form of skiing. It requires a different stance and balance than regular skiing.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Tele skiers say 'Free your heel, free your mind'. If you are a downhill skier looking for something new and challenging, try telemark skiing.

Hey Rocky,    My best advice is to take them to a local ski shop that offers custom fitting. They can assess your boots and determine exactly what is needed and then advise you on whether they can be fixed

Hey Tyler,    You have presented me with a few questions as to what your spots are. I'm trying to figure out the cause first.     You mention 'P-tex' wax. We're you trying to fill in some shallow gouges?
