My first answer is - if you're going to stay amateur, you need to remain where you are. In order to turn pro in the US, you will need to get here on some kind of visa - takes several years or more to
If you want to become a professional referee, you need to check with your State's boxing commission and see what their requirements are. For amateur boxing, you will need to become a volunteer member
Hi Jonathan - Considering that most amateur boxers start between the ages of 8 and 10, starting at 21 means that you will be competing mostly against athletes who have many more years of experience. However

At local shows, most LBCS allow any boxer to work as a second, as long as they are currently registered. At a national tournament, a boxer may work as a second as long as he or she is currently registered
