What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  There are evolving treatments all the time. Not all drugs work for all people. It usually takes time to determine if drugs will work. Patience is a virtue.
What do you like about this subject?  This is a common disease. It is silent and can slowly destroy the body's organ systems. It is most difficult to treat as many people don't feel sick. Understanding the disease and its effects can help people be more willing to take it seriously and hopefully prevent the long term effects of the disease.
