What do you like about this subject?  The variety of problems that can arise from an automotive system is amazing, considering how relatively simple they are in comparison to the larger residential/industrial systems.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I will receive my NATE and ICE certifications within the next 2 years.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Are you aware that you can boil water at 32 degrees fahrenheit? Yes, boil... not freeze.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Should the EPA outlaw consumers from recharging their own automotive systems? IE: Ridding the auto parts stores of "quick fill" charging kits. ABSOLUTELY. And not for the technician's pocket either. We would actually lose money due to repairs needing done, getting done, and having it done right. The "quick fill" kits prolong a small problem until it becomes a larger more expensive repair.
