Expertise: I have been involved in philately for most of my 55 years. I specialize in United States Issues and Postmarks. I have numerous reference sources to research if I do not know the answer. As I mentioned, I have been collecting philatelic items for most of my 55 years. I have several albums of United States issues (most of them are pages I designed myself) and I also have numerous albums of postmarks sorted and researchhed by state.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? my goal is to share the hobby. By sharing, one can teach and learn at the same time.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: stamp collecting is more than just the postage matter. It is the envelope (or cover), the postmark and the letter it contains. I have letters that were written early in the 1860's. It was the time of the civil war. Noting earth shattering news wise in these letters, but it is history that one cannot find in a text book.
