What do you like about this subject?

The ability to help people who have no where else to turn, and who want the personalized and professional service of a Private Investigator who is able to devote time and manpower to their cases when traditional law enforcement cannot.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

If you aren't learning something new every day, it's a wasted day. There is always new case law from court decisions to keep track of.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

If you tell someone you are a "Private Investigator" or "Private Detective", almost no one believes you. You can have a badge and state issued credentials, but most people would believe you are an astronaut before they'll believe you are a Private Investigator.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

I do NOT drive a Ferrari (but I do like Hawaiian shirts) and most of the time I don't carry a gun, either. Those who think Private Investigation is glamor and glitz have never pawed through a suspects trash at 0200 in the morning looking for evidence.
