Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Most security officers are more professional than you may think. The days of the night watchman are long past. Today's security officer has to be competent in a viariety of subjects including but not limited to: advanced fire protection systems, access control systems, homeland security techniques, public relations, first responder techniques, and often a vocabulary of foriegn languages.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  The most undervalued and underpaid occupation on earth.
