What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

Hopefully, to get new apprentices started on the right track, so they themselves can stay out of trouble. Too many new people get started off in the wrong direction. Buying handcuffs and SWAT gear only to find out that no one will hire them. Hmmm, I wonder why?

Bounty Hunting: Some states it illegal to bounty hunt. Some states you need a license or have restrictions. Do your research on bounty hunting before you wind up in jail.
