I have been one of Jehovah`s Witneses now for over 30 years, in those years I have brought up 4 children, teaching each of them the bible.Being one of Jehovah`s Witnesses has helped me cope with my Epilepsy and bring up a daughter with learning difficulties.I have conducted bible studies with people from nearly every denomination i.e. Muslim. Having used the bible all these years to answer peoples questions, I feel I am qualified to give any answer regarding Jehovah`s Witnesses and the bible.
My experience has been one of attending bible lectures 5 times a week, taking part in these lectures in front of an audience and being with thousands of J.W. at conventions where I have seen the bible at work in peoples lives. It is truly a miracle when you see thousands of people meeting together and not one policeman needed, and not even a piece of litter in sight. It is like another world.
I absolutely love studying the bible and speaking to others about it.I love mixing with people who are trying to live a Christian life and this is possible especially at our meetings and assemblies.
when it comes to the bible we are always learning and the most important part about learning is drawing ever closer to the Creator,so my aim is just to keep on growing in the faith.
Well when people get one of J.W. at their door they perhaps see them as some holy joe's with nothing better to do,which is not true, we are just normal everyday housewives etc. who are realy nervous about coming to a stranger's door, we come nonetheless because we truly love our nieghbour and want them to hear the marvellous things we know to be true.
Jehovah's Witness have been accused of not loving their children because of our stand on blood.People couldnt be further from the truth and I hope as a mother I never have to face that decision. We love God and obeying him is paramount in our lives but that does not mean it is an easy decision to make "refusing blood"
Don't bother trying to "prove" the Trinity doctrine to me John, you will be wasting your time,I believed it blindly for years. As for "jumping to conclusions" I hardly think 30 years & more of study
I provided scriptural proof of their "reward being taken back" As for "does it ever cause you to pause when you see that a teaching of Jehovah's Witnesses is not found in the Bible? Never in over
"JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO LIFE. EPH 2:8,9; 1 COR 15:1-4" Eph. 2:8, 9, RS: “By grace [“undeserved kindness,” NW] you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the GIFT OF GOD—not
"ALL the workers received the same reward, Their reward was not taken back" All the workers were OFFERED the same reward, the opportunity to be anointed with holy spirit at Pentecost & be fellow workers
HI Daniel, you asked--"MATTHEW 20---THOSE WHO COMPLAIN ARE THE CLERGY OF CHRISTENDOM?" In the illustration — 1. The owner of the vineyard, is Jehovah God 2. The vineyard is the nation of Israel
