Fishing for CARP is the number one sport in Europe, and there has been an ever growing interest in the United States. Pound for pound CARP is best fighting fresh water fish there is!
It is my intent to promote CARP ANGLING amongst all persons having an a desire to spend an enjoyable, and rewarding bank fishing experience.
The sport can be done with virtually any fresh water set up , baitcasters, closed or open faced spinners,6 foot rods, as well as sophisticated Carp Angling equipment, including 13 foot rods and specialized bait runner reels, and electronic bite detectors.
I know, you've heard they were "TRASH" fish, but they are an exciting and intelligent species, abundant in virtually all fresh waters, and they are an eager opponent for young anglers, as they have NO teeth, NO sharp fins, and can be caught on wide variety of baits, that junior female anglers will have no problem with, such as bread, corn, etc.

"Chumming" is usually done with Cattle cubes or cooked "DEER CORN" the corn is prepared the same way as you would prepare it for a hook bait, ( boil for about an hour and a half) Cattle cubes or range
Gravel pits can be a great source of many hours of CARP fishing,,,,,,,,\Carp are usually bottom feeders, best results you can attain is withsome corn kernals, on a rig that is called a "HAIR RIG" avid
I would it is a safe proceedure however: It's not really necessary to remove the batteries from the boat to charge them but it is a wise idea to at least remove the cables/wires going to the ground
Ground baits are about as aried as stars in the sky, and included everythihng form Hemp seed to Bird seed,,,,,, there are different recipies for Winter Fall Summer and Spring, still water of fast running
Carp can weight quite a bit, and can be very powerful,,,I prefer to use a Braid. A 30 pound braid, (either Stren or Power Pro) will have the approximate basic diameter of an 8 -10 pound mono, is much
