Past/Present Clients

Senior adjuster for one county sent me her husband when they needed caring representation. The injured Employment Development Dept. hearing representative -- who see all applicant's attorneys in the region -- hired me when she got hurt on the job. A Fire Department Chief in Orange County came all the way to San Bernardino for my representation.

What do you like about this subject?

I like matching people with the best physician for them... and sometimes getting people their old jobs back when they've been laid off or terminated just because they requested Comp benefits.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I want to learn Comp laws in states other than California still.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

IF YOU CAN PROVE you are laid-off or terminated just because you requested Workers' Compensation benefits, you are entitled to a 50% increase plus reinstatement as per labor code 132(a), the 'wrongful termination' portion of the Workers' Compensation Act within the California Labor Code.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Most Workers' Comp attorneys will not prosecute your 132a "wrongful termination/ discrimination" action with your comp claim... it's three times the work for less money.
