Expertise

I can answer questions that relate to correct form, improving performance, avoiding injuries, gear, safety, tracking progress, developing and meeting goals, diet, and so on. I'm familiar with all of the common sorts of questions people have when they first start running, as well as many of the more difficult subjects that arise after running for some time.

Experience in the area

I have been running for over 20 years and have coached many others during this time. Although not trained in kinesiology or athletics, I am a mechanical engineer and have a deep understanding of the physics involved. My own personal experience with running, reading extensively on this subject, and working with others to improve their running, have all provided me with an extensive knowledge base to help others with their running.
