Hi Greg, There are no "laws" that regulate servicing your SCUBA equipment. However, it is always recommended to have a trained, certified technician service your equipment for safety reasons. Hope
Wil, In that previous answer, regarding a Mares bottom timer, I was referring to some specific units, but the Tekna timers was not among them. One of the places that used to do those was Brass Anchor
Charles, A BCD with a CO2 valve in the pocket is an older model indeed! If the rubber coated stem in the pocket has a Schrader valve in it, and that's what is leaking, you might be able to replace
