Expertise

I have studied the Bible and Bible-related topics since the time I was very young. My education includes a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Bible, and a Master of Divinity degree. I enjoy delving into deep theological issues and always enjoy a healthy debate. But more importantly, I like working with people and helping them to find the answers that they are looking for. And I am convinced that these answers are available in the Bible.

Experience in the area

By the grace and mercy of God, I have been saved, born again, adopted into the family of God. God has given me a love for the Bible, and for Bible-related subjects. In addition, He has blessed me with ongoing training in the Scriptures, from my youth on up. The more I learn about God through His Word, the more I want to share!

What do you like about this subject?

I believe that a holy, wise, loving God chose to reveal Himself to us through the Bible. It's the most unique book ever written and is a reliable guide for daily living and for answers about life and the hereafter. 2 Tim. 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

As a reflection of the mind of God, the Bible is such a deep book, filled with knowledge and wisdom that exceeds comprehension. It's like an endless diamond mine. The more you dig, the more jewels you find. My learning of the Bible will never be complete, so I plan to keep learning throughout this life and the next.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Although penned by human beings, the Bible was actually authored by God. (See II Peter 1:20-21, II Timothy 3:16.)

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

Hebrews 4:12 says, "The Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." The idea here is that the Bible is a living book, and when one is exposed to it, God goes to work in his heart!

Regardless of your age, if you called upon the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-13), he promises that you will be saved. If, for any reason, you question whether or not you were actually saved at that time
