I have experience with several different denominations. If you wish to know what a specific group teaches be sure and specify that. If you want my personal views specify that as well as my take on some of these things is a bit different. Most questions will be answered from a basic Baptist perspective unless you specify differently.

Christianity is an incredibly diverse religion. When asking your question, it may be helpful to mention if you are seeking more traditional teachings, liberal views, Bible based beliefs, etc. The more you tell me the more relevant replies can be.
While I can and happily will share information from myriad perspectives to assist you, the truth is that there is no "one correct way" to understand the Bible. Like God, its ways are deep and transcend human wisdom.
