Experience in the area
I'm the author of the book, Betrayal of the Spirit: My Life behind the Headlines of the Hare Krishna Movement (University of Illinois Press, 1997). My second book is called, Cult Survivor?s Handbook: How to Live in the Material World Again. I invite family and friends of cult members, former cult members, and people who suspect they may be involved in a cult to contact me for advice.

Master?s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Western Oregon University, 1991)
Master's thesis was based on using art therapy with juveniles.
