Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Nikoli Tesla invented the modern day electrical system, after a long fight with Thomas Edison. Edison wanted direct current, Tesla wanted alternating current. Tesla also invented the electric motor, and sold the idea to Westinghouse. Tesla lived for a while in Colorado Springs, Co.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Many lives could be saved each year if outlets are GFCI protected. Outside outlets, bath & kitchen, as well as garage and crawlspace outlets should have this type of protection. Remember GFCI (Good Friend, Cool Idea)
What do you like about this subject?  Electricity is a dangerous thing, so knowing all about the safety aspects of it is necessary to do any work with it.
