I can answer most questions in the field of plumbing home repair for the inside or outside property of a home including irrigation systems, septic systems, well water systems, recirculation systems and I can address these questions from a beginning plumbing standpoint or for someone who has more advanced skills.
Are you working on an addition or remodelling? Need some bathroom or kitchen
design ideas?
Run your questions by me since I enjoy that challenge of remodelling & new
construction projects.
I have worked on a variety of major projects including Home Depot as an outsourced Project Manager tasked to repair the fire system at the Fullerton/Placentia store and distribution center in Orange County. I believe in simplifying any task I am assigned in order to avoid wasting time and material, while I always look for the simplest solution possible to the issue and then I execute my plan. Having lead many construction crews, large and small, I have been involved in residential and commercial repair and remodel projects including medical facilities, new home construction, high rises and apartment complexes. Building maintenance work in condominium complexes from Playa del Rey to Beverly Hills to the Hollywood Hills are a speciality. I have completed many maintenance work projects at complexes great and small.

My lips are sealed, however, I have personally worked for a well-known "kitten" actress, close friends of a certain comedic "Redhead" actress/producer, one of the lead actresses from "Gone With The Wind" and a former Governor of the State of California!
My lips are sealed, it wouldn't be professional to name names!
Plumbing is more than "putting two pipes together". In involves understanding other trades and how a bad piping design & installation can cause major health risks to the inhabitants of a building, even death.
At this point in my career, I hope to help homeowners and apprentice plumber's to understand the risks inherent even in regular household plumbing systems and to be able to problem solve for repair issues quickly.
The Asian "SARS" virus which scared the world for about 60 days began as a standard plumbing problem. No trap seal in the floor drains of a high-rise building. Chinese officials contacted IAPMO, the only organization dedicated to improving plumbing codes here in the U.S. and internationally to help solve the problem. I am a member of that organization
Professional plumbers are looked upon as uncouth, uneducated people who aren't smart enough to buy pants that fit and of course aren't aware they are exposing butt crack while they work. In my opinion, if it weren't for professional plumbers, we would all be affected by influenza, staph infections and extremely unsanitary conditions on a daily basis.

Georgia, Sounds like you may have a backflow device called a "backwater valve" attached to your drainage system or you have a flat round object stuck in the drain. The latter is probably not true
Chris, Depending upon the area, water pressures from the Water Authority can rise 100%! So I would consider it normal if you pressure is up at 90psi. Here in the Southland of California, most
Sorry I couldn't get back to you right away Sharon. I have two dear friends in the hospital and one had to have emergency surgery. Sorry for the wait... Sometimes T&P valves will do that. I
Herminio, If I am not mistaken, there is a brass wishbone holding the valve stem in the valve body. Similar to Moen. You need to pull up on the wishbone and remove it for later re-installation
Adrian, I'm confused. The very fact that you want to install a "vent" means flow goes up. The pipe you are speaking of is a drainage vent. Can you explain a bit more how the "radon vent" works?
