Experience in the area

I have visited Cali, Medellin, Pereira, Bogota, Cartagena, Villavicencio, el Parque de Cafe, and Santa Fe de Antioquia several times before moving to Bogota. I speak Spanish and English fluently, I have gone through the process of getting a business visa and cedula de extranjeria. I have several reputable contacts in the emerald trade and work with them myself. I have close contact with an adventure tour operator that knows every inch of Colombia.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I am researching the logistics involved in arranging guided fishing trips for people looking to go fishing for trout in Colombia or something completely different. More to come on this.
