Experience in the area
My Father is Dr. David Wingate, the grandfather of the conservation movement in Bermuda. He single handedly devoted his life to saving the Bermuda Petral (cahow) from extinction and recreating Nonsuch Island as a living museum of precolonial Bermuda in the hopes that this incredibly rare seabird may one day recolonise it. I grew up on Nonsuch island surrounded by wildlife. In my adulthood I worked for a period at the Bermuda Aquarium Museum and Zoo. I now operate a tour boat company with my husband, Tony who, over the past 23 years, has worked in virtually every arena of the tour boat industry and knows it inside out.
