I have years of experience in the outbound calling aspect of the call center world. I work with companies on a regular basis, helping them find the right program and the tools needed to dial it. I work at Tele Resources, Inc., an outbound only call center. We are part of the ATA, DMA, MPA, and ABC. I work with Fortune 500 companies as well as small groups developing their over the phone DM programs.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? Currently we are on the brink of a new era in telemarketing. I hope to learn more about what is to come and how we can redefine our place in the Direct Marketing Industry.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject Telemarketing has redefined itself to become a helpful tool in customer contact. It is no longer a brash heavy call volume channel, it has become a very streamline and targeted tool.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: Telemarketing has the highest responce rate for any channel of direct marketing.

What do you like about this subject? Telemarketing is one of the fastest growing or rather regrowing channel in the marketing industry. As a channel is has redefined itself and still proves to be the most successful channel.
