My unexpected specialty has been correction of disorders caused by working conditions. Who knew that office work could hurt so much and be so damaging? Massage Therapy is one step along the line; I hope to be in medical school in a few years to take that training to a completely new level.
Some people agree, some disagree, about 'Energy Work' - but various modalities such as Reiki, emotional release, Cranio-Sacral therapies, and others are an excellent additional way to treat most soft-tissue injuries. If you're interested - ask. If not, I won't get into the Woo-Hoo of treatments that requrire some user belief systems.
