PGA Professional with over 30 plus years experience in the golf industry and sport I have worked in virtually every major facet of the golf industry there is. Some of the positions I have held are General Manager, Head Professional, Director of Instruction, Teaching Professional, Club Fitter, Club Designer, Golf Course and Driving Range Design Construction Design and Consulting, Rules Official during Professional tournaments, and also a Playing Professional in Tournaments. My expertise has had me invited and traveled to 5 continents and 16 countries. As you can see the life of a PGA Professional has many more duties that just that of playing or teaching golf.

What do you like about this subject?

I love golf, it is the epitome of personal tests. Golf reveals both the best and the worst in a person. Be it either success or failure, you only have one person to answer for the result and that person is you. Golf, Life, Business all hold very much the same traits.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

Everything I possibly can. though I am not so sure anyone can know everything there is about one specific subject. Somehow the Universe knows when to throw a knuckle ball or curve when you least expect it.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

PGA Professionals are required to complete 54 educational credit hours every 3 years to maintain their membership. Our educational system is more stringent than any other professional association or organization.
