By far though the bulk of my client base is the 40 plus female that has raised her family and now is able to take some time for herself.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? I at some point would like to bicycle across the USA, and I would also love to see the Rails to Trails "emerald ribbon" come to fruition in my lifetime.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject Probably the most controversial thing amongst road riders is which side of the road to ride on. The law is specific but in most states is not enforced. A bicycle in virtually every state is considered a vehichle and must follow the same rules as any vehichle, this includes riding on the right side of the road in the US and with the traffic.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: Many great men have been cyclists, and I am not talking about Lance Armstrong or Greg Lemond but people that are not usually associated with being great athletes. The Wright Brothers ran a bicycle shop and were avid cyclists in Dayton Ohio. Albert Einstein is said to have come up with the Theory of Relativity while on one of his many bike rides.

What do you like about this subject? I enjoy cycling very much, it is relaxing and the slower pace allows you to see much more and enjoy the sites much more than you would in a car. Road cycling and bicycle touring is what I enjoy most. I also enjoy doing "charity bike rides" because these are benificial to other people.
