I have great knowledge in many small and furry animals such as hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets. I have taken care all of these animals and have great knowledge in appropiate cage sizes as well as food and health.
I no longer work at pet store. because I am now working at a hospital, but I worked in the petcare department for a year and was the petcare lead of my department. It was a lot of work and a lot of fun. I also own many types of animals.
I love hamsters and gerbils they are extremely funny and make great pets for people with limited space and who don't mind having something bite them.
I still hope to inform people about the joys and challanges of owning a hamster. Even though they are small and cuddly they still require attention and maintenance and good care.
Hamsters can bite. ALL hamsters are capable of biting you.

Hello Maddison, have you tried bread soaked in milk? The milk can add weight to the gerbil. Anything that's soft will help her out and you can try feeding anything that is soft nd you can also give her
Syrian hamsters get very large and typically it's not a good idea to buy cages with tubes for them. They will typically get 6-7 inches and do get fat. Typically people will fill their bowls up half way
Hello Sophie, typically most people do free feed their hamsters or fill their bowls up half way each day. Hamsters do get pretty chubby which is fine and exercise 30min. in the sphere is the max I would
Hello Jenna, fostering baby gerbils is very hard to do as you do have to feed them every hour on the hour for quite a few days. I wouldn't seperate the moms from the babies as the mother really does know
Hello Dan, it sounds like he may have had a stroke. It certainly sounds like some type of nerve damage if he's twitching. There isn't much that a vet could really do and I don't think that there is much
