Expertise: I can answer the following types of questions as they relate to the "lesbian life": sex and sexuality, dating, race/interracial relations, emotional/mental health, STDs, alcohol and substance abuse, and general lifestyle issues. Specific questions about relationships are always welcomed. I am totally open-minded to all issues/problems/concerns and every question will be treated with respect and given the best possible answer I can provide.
Experience in the area I've been active in the LGBTQ community for almost eight years and have always been the "go-to" person for insight and advice amongst my friends. I'm a peer educator at an HIV/AIDs non-profit organization and have been trained in many areas including, but not limited to: STD prevention, domestic violence, substance abuse, healthy sexual relationships, and lifestyle discrimination and stigmas. Training is on-going.
Publications A couple of my articles have been published in No Labelz magazine, a new, alternative lifestyle magazine based in Atlanta, GA. Also, my first novel, That One Moment, is under contract negotiation for publication this year.
Education/Credentials I am currently studying to obtain CASAC certification (Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor).
