Visit my web site at: http://www.jennifertaylorwojcik.com Decor: I've written about it, planned it, designed it and colored it, and I've never stopped loving it. It's not what you spend, or who made it, it's how it makes you feel.

Experience in the area

College, advertising, public relations, marketing, free-lance writing and a plethora of creative endeavors have led me here. As an entrepreneur in decorative product design, I learned the hard way how tough it can be to be in business for yourself. A stint at a law firm taught me humility too. Some three thousand questions ago, I wondered if I could really help.

What do you like about this subject?

Decorating should reflect your personality and those of the people who live in the space.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

My goals change every day. The one constant thing for me is that there is something to be learned from every experience, every encounter, and that if you're not living "in the moment" you are missing your life.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

The number one thing that people forget or don't realize is that decorating is a "can do" thing for just about anyone.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

White walls. Think they're safe? Either we've all got them, we've all had them, or we will have them, and unless those white walls are intentionally white by design, add color!

Hi Marylou -    Thanks for writing me.  The Glidden color DOES still exist.  Check your local Home Depot store.  It's available from Glidden paints.    Toasty Grey is a timeless color and will work well

Hi Patti,    Thanks for writing me with your question.  It's a good one.      Because it's Florida, and there's a casual lifestyle here (for the most part#, I'd offer this suggestion: think comfort in

2012-02-07 blinds delimina:

Thanks for writing me with your question.      Keep your blinds the same throughout your home regardless of the decor colors.  If you are using off-white in other rooms, use off-white in the living room

2012-02-06 Offset Window Wall:

Hi George,    Thanks for writing me.  I think you have a couple of options.  One, and the most dramatic, is to hang draperies (as close to the ceiling and to the floor) on the "outside" of the window making

Hi Claudia,    Thanks for writing me.  While I don't do sketches, I can give you some things to consider.      I'm not a big fan of recliners period, but let's face it, men LOVE them because they're usually
