I can't know without seeing the damages but if you were to ask her to get an estimate of repair you could contact the estimator and discuss that. If the bumper is a painted one you can expect about $ $350

HARD TO SAY WITHOUT SEEING THE DAMAGES....IT COULD BE THAT THE POST IS IN...HOW IS THE GAP AT THE TOP OF THE DOOR ?. YOU MAY HAVE A BAD LATCH. I WOULD TAKE IT BY A BODY SHOP AND HAVE THEM LOOK AT IT
