I have been playing trumpet for over 50 years and teaching for the last 20. I own a Bach Mercedes and a Jupiter pocket trumpet. I also have very good connections in the retail industry, particularly with Largo trumpets. I also play trombone, keyboards, alto and tenor sax.

Hi Jonathan, To properly age your trumpet I will need a serial number, which would tell us the year of manufacture. It can usually be found stamped into the second valve casing. Also, the model number
G'day Joe, There is the point of terminology in which some manufacturures will say "plated" instead of lacquered. Usually the reference is plated when it is a silver finish and lacquered when it's gold
