Hi Arthur Bach Uses good quality Brass Beneath the Mouthpiece and though their are other less Expensive Mouthpieces on the Market the Bach Mouthpiece along with Schiller made mouthpieces are quite good

Hi This would really depend upon the quality of the valves etc Frankly with quality new Trumpet like Schiller selling for $300-$700 its really hard to justify some of the pricing of the used Trumpets
Hi You can refinish horns like this however they rarely play the same. For many purists they believe it better to leave the horn as it is. If you like send me a photo and I'll let you know my thoughts
