What do you like about this subject?  To pass on information that may help another human being.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  Being able to educate and assist the alcoholic, the alcoholic's family and friends seek help for themselves.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Alcoholism is a killer that affects every person that an alcoholic comes in contact with.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  An alcoholic must be held accountable for their actions. However, alcoholism is a disease and alcoholics are not bad people, they are sick people who do bad things. They do bad things because they are addicted, and their addiction is controlling their lives. There is a way to recover, but recovery requires courage and a willingness to change their lives.
