Hi Linda, You certainly have the right to know what is going on. You will not be rocking the boat to call your insurance company to ask the progress and/or outcome of the claim. Just call the adjuster

Hi Thad, You should request the insurance adjuster send you a letter or an email that explains in detail the terms of the settlement. The cost of repairs for your car should be seperate from the injury
Hi Giesel, CCC has been sued many times over its valuation practices. The insurance company has no interest in properly compensating you. Their only interest is to make you go away as cheaply as possible
Hi Chet, I'm sorry this response was a bit slower. The approach you outlined may have been successful if attempted on the spot. The other party has already reported this to their insurance company
