Playing piccolo is easier than playing flute.
I'd say, it depends on what key you're playing in. If "C" is the next note up within the key (as it would be in the keys of say, F, or Bb) then you trill up to C. If you're in the key of say, F#, then
I would say this: You tried the main flutes offered in intermediate flutes. If your daughter liked the TJ best, yes, buy that one. I would want the split E on it, myself. Yearly maintenance? Depends
Jupiter is certainly a reputable brand. However, I don't think the JUpiter will have the split E mechanism. Jupiters tend to have a sweeter, brighter sound than Yamahas. Yamahas have a big, dark sound
