Since you are not able to run in Safe Mode, I suggest you to put your hard drive as a secondary disk in a normal computer (or remove the disk and connect to an external case), map as a partition and run

Good question. In my opinion, you should start your computer in Safe Mode and uninstall the wrong driver. Once you do it, you perform with the correct version. It is a simple answer but my experience
