What do you like about this subject?  This industry is very competitive -- great for anyone who loves a challenge and a rewarding career!
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  My short-term goals within this field are to obtain my MBA. Long-term, I would like to partner/operate my own hotel or bed and breakfast.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  The Hospitality, Travel and Tourism industry is expecting tremendous growth by the year 2010. Despite the competitive nature of this industry, new college graduates have more jobs to choose from and higher salaries/benefits in these areas today than ever before, even with the uncertainty of the U.S. economy.
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Jobs are plentiful in the industry currently, but you have to have talent to get your foot in the door. The slightest lack of confidence will set you up for failure in this field. You must be service-motivated, confident and most importantly an "A" player who can prove him or herself. You must have self-discipline, effective goal setting skills, and a passion customers' satisfaction.
