What do you like about this subject? I especially like the friendship and the cordial, gregarious and outgoing feelings of the Omanis. In my years of living in Oman, I am touched by the charms and simple pleasures of the Omani people who live in such a climatically challengin environment,

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field? I hope that in the years to come I can help establish a travel corridor to this part of the world.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know: In a nutshell, read my book: the Maverick Guide to Oman. There are way to many instances to describe in this small space.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject Although we are in the heart of the Middle East, I can honestly say that when you come to Oman, you are as safe as a babe in her mother's arms.
