anything about biological oceanography or marine biology

Experience in the area

i am a marine biologist working in coastal resource management for almost ten years now. my field of specialty is biological oceanography (or marine biology)and i know a little bit of physical oceanography, specifically water currents and tides.

Education/Credentials

University graduate of bachelor of science in marine biology

What do you like about this subject?

i like the science itself. I am in awe of how nature works and how our marine environment changes over time.

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I think I have just tapped the tip of the iceberg in this subject. I'd love to learn more about marine biology, specifically about marine invertebrates and plankton.

Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:

Sharks don't like to be hurt. They swim away if you punch them on their snout.

Something controversial or provocative about this subject

The world's oceans are now the core of the global warming issue. Humanity has to be aware of the drastic change of temperature in oceans.
