I am a floral designer by trade and studied at the prestigious Hixson's School of Floral Design for two of Mr. Hixson's classes. I have a family history of floral design and greenhouse work dating back to the 1920's. I have worked in the business for the last 30 years.

What do you like about this subject?  I love how colors and shapes and flowers can blend into one arrangement and brighten a room; I love the way a Bride holds the bouquet that I've created down the aisle; I love the business challenge of staying on top of my chosen line of work.
What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I hope to one day become an inspiration to many on various levels.
