Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  New Zealand residents can enrol at University without any formal paper qualifications. Each University has the discretion to enrol whoever they want, usually after a favourable interview. It is called "Provisional Enrolment".
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Although it shouldn't be, home schooling is first and foremost a political statement since we live in a world that has stopped questioning the legitimacy of state-mandated, tax-payer funded, compulsory, secular schooling.
