Willing to answer Yosemite National Park questions, general sights, trails, what to do, etc.
I am merely a Yosemite lover, who has gone to Yosemite at least once a year since about 1983. I have completed several of the "major" hikes around the Valley floor, but I am merely a day hiker. I have great admiration for the rock climbers and backpackers, but I am merely a camper and dayhiker. Hikes completed: Half Dome base (threat of lightning kept me from cables), To the top of Yosemite fall from Valley, Vernal & Nevada Fall, Glacier Point to Valley Floor, via Panaroma Trail, and many more
What is not to love about Yosemite. I love its beauty and grandeur, its expression of life and nature. Year round, my extended Yosemite family looks forward to our annual re-union with this magnificent Paradise. This is what Heaven must look like.
I would like to become more familiar with the Yosemite High Country, as well as some of the surrounding parks.
Who Elmer is?
Yosemite lovers are loving Yosemite too much.

Sorry this has taken a while, but I was unable to access e-mail from home for some time. A couple of reasons come to mind. 1) Winding mountain roads are hard enough to drive under ideal conditions
