My primary expertise is in the history of Yosemite & the Big Trees, and in collecting historical materials relative to those areas - rare books & pamphlets, maps & manuscripts, art & photography, artifacts &souvenirs, etc.

Experience in the area

I have been visiting Yosemite for more than half of its history as a national park, often for months at a time. I have been involved in collecting in the Yosemite & Big Tree fields for decades, and presently curate the Yosemite Archives, the largest existing private collection of related historical materials.
