Rita, Yes, you may certainly bring your 9-month old child to Yellowstone. You will, of course, have him or her in a stroller, and essentially there are many boardwalks and trails which are stroller-friendly

Stephanie, I assume you are asking about Madison Junction (and campground) inside Yellowstone? From Fishing Bridge, the only route to get to Madison would be to go south to West Thumb, then head north
