What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?  I would like to start schools to teach young people the skills that I have, to enrich their life. I am interested also in more designing as I have done in the past and making programes to help ordinary knitters to make their own patterns.
Something interesting about this subject that others may not know:  Knitting is easy, the hardest part is to pick up the needles..
Something controversial or provocative about this subject  Let me know of the errors that you find in patterns by people who call themselves designers! Also what about those abbreviations that are never explained and trip up young and experienced knitters?
What do you like about this subject?  From the beginning of my life to now I have always done knitting. To me it is a joy that I can give to others through the garments that I make for them and the warmth they receive from wearing them. It is my gift to life.

Thanks so much. Guess it just didn't make sense to me when I first read it. I'm looking forward to making a scarf for my granddaughter with this pattern.
