Expertise

I can answer any type of volleyball question: middle school, high school, college, club, coaching, playing, etc. (I am not, however, a athletic trainer! If you have a knee, ankle, back, etc. question, I'm sorry, but please search for another expert.)

Please ask a question only if you check your email like every day! It's been really surprising to me that many answers are never read. Can you believe that between Sept 1, 2011 and Jan 1, 2012, nineteen of my responses have never been read? This is so odd to me.

I will almost always answer your question within 24 hours.

You may also email me anytime at coachhouser@yahoo.com! I'd enjoy hearing from you!

TEENAGERS: Please check your email tomorrow. I will probably have answered your question by then. :)

Then, one last favor: please grade my answer!

Experience in the area

BS degree from Va Tech in Math Education. MS degree from Va Tech in Secondary Administration. In the fall, I'll be starting my 31st year teaching high school math!

The Picture!
The picture that you see is the 2012 15's team that I'm fortunate to be a part of. We have 11 tournaments on our schedule, including Monument (Richmond) in January, Capitol Hill (Wash DC) in February, Shamrock (Roanoke, Va) in March and both BigSouth and Northeast Qualifiers (April).

What do you like about this subject?

I have a lot of fun answering questions from players, parents and coaches. In fact, I have 2 "I Can't Wait To Coach" ebooks for sale on my website. Two more may be coming out this winter!

What do you still hope to achieve/learn in this field?

I'd like to coach as long as I can! I have a great time doing it. I can't get enough of it.
